3 Days Wonders of Murchison Falls

DAY 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

The trip embarks with a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Enjoy Rhino tracking in the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As these rhinos are free to move around on 7 000 hectares of land.

Your guide is there to keep you safe from harm so listening to the safety briefing he gives you is very important. What you need: Closed shoes but also gumboots are provided on site, long pants, and water and insect repellent. 

After the tracking, proceed to Murchison Falls national park, check in at the lodge and delicious dinner awaits.

DAY 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.

Arise very early in the morning for morning game drive on the northern bank of the river Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellentopportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot animals like African Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Nubian Giraffe, Jackson Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.

After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls and you will be able to spot aquatic animals like Nile Crocodile, Hippopotamus and aquatic birds.

After you will return to the lodge concluding the day with beautiful memories to feed your mind.

DAY 3: Top of the falls and transfer to Kampala

Top of the Falls

You will have a relaxed breakfast, visit the top of the falls and enjoy the beautiful hike where you will have the amazing view of the falls! See where the Nile - world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.

Check out and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover for Lunch thus marking the end of safari.
